Shortly after graduating from art school I found myself working at the Elyria Chronicle Telegram, a medium sized daily outside of Cleveland , I stayed there until 1984. After working in the ski industry as a sales rep for for Blizzard Ski company I returned to photojournalism Ten years later at the Cleveland Sun Newspapers. After moving to Omaha I got to work part time at the Omaha daily paper the World herald before ending up as a staffer at the Bellevue Leader just outside of Omaha. Shortly after moving from Omaha, NE, to Mequon, WI, I found myself working at Lake Country Publications for some of the nicest people in newspapers. I was soon covering events new to me. Among these was the wonderful world of ice fishing and crazed Packer fans. Everyone at Lake Country made me feel at home and I was eating cheese and sausage like a local in no time. It was a long drive but I loved the job. After a year I was covering  events nearer to my home for CNI newspapers. CNI has a great staff of photographers and writers as well as some of the best editors I have worked with anywhere.

After many years of working at newspapers I now utilize my marketing degree and photo skills as the marketing coordinator for Schlitz Audubon Nature Center in Bayside, Wisconsin.
